My name is Leeah Phillips. I am a registered nurse and the creator of Real Nurse Digest, a platform designed to cover nursing and health related topics from the perspective of a nurse. I started my nursing career in 2020 at the height of COVID working on a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit. I have since transitioned from the floor to the emergency room and now I’m a GI and Pain Management Nurse. Along my nursing journey I have experienced the highs and lows of being a bedside nurse and wished there was a place of guidance for nurses like me.

I created this website for myself and other nurses alike that are trying to navigate nursing. I want to help current and future nurses navigate their career, whether it’s within or outside of the profession. From books to bedside and beyond!
